Terms and Condition
For the “8K IHG App Offer” promotion (the “Promotion”), you must be an IHG One Rewards member and be invited to participate in the Promotion. After receiving an invitation, a member must register their member number in advance to participate in the Promotion. Invited members can pre-register for this Promotion from 10 June 2022 through 15 June 2022. Members will be able to stay and earn IHG One Rewards bonus points under this Promotion beginning 16 June 2022 and ending on 16 August 2022 (“Promotion Period”). Members who did not register during the period for pre-registration may register for the Promotion during the Promotion Period. By clicking the “click to register” button for the Promotion, a member is registering for the 8k IHG App Offer and accepting these Terms & Conditions.
Once a member has registered for the Promotion, the member can earn IHG One Rewards bonus points by completing Qualifying Stays during the Promotion Period that were booked through the IHG App: 2,000 bonus points for the first such Qualifying Stay and an additional 6,000 bonus points for the second such Qualifying Stay. To be eligible for these bonus points awards, the Qualifying Stay must have been booked using the App and must be completed within the Promotion Period. Stays prior to registration for the Promotion, as well as any stays that are not fully within the Promotion Period, will not be eligible for bonus points under the Promotion. The Qualifying Stay may be at any IHG® Hotels & Resorts brand, Mr & Mrs Smith properties, or participating Six Senses® Hotels, Resorts & Spas (as identified on each hotel’s booking page). The invitation to participate in this Promotion applies to the original recipient only and cannot be transferred. A maximum of 8,000 bonus points can be achieved in connection with the Promotion. The time needed for awarding points can vary with each promotion, so please allow up to six (6) weeks for bonus points to be posted to the recipient’s IHG One Rewards account. A Qualifying Stay is defined as a minimum 1-night stay booked under a Qualifying Rate, with a total spend exceeding $30 USD (or local equivalent) per night. Multiple checkouts for consecutive nights at the same hotel may count as only one (1) Qualifying Stay; non-consecutive qualifying night stays at the same hotel may count as separate Qualifying Stays. Only one room per member per Qualifying Stay can be eligible for an award of points under this Promotion. If a member books more than one room on the same night(s), they may only be eligible receive bonus points for the Promotion in connection with the Qualifying Stay for the room with the higher average room rate. If more than one member checks into the same room, only one member who received and registered for the Promotion and booked the room through the App can be eligible to claim the stay for purposes of the Promotion. Points awarded through this Promotion are not Elite status qualifying. The points earned during the Promotion can be used towards Reward Nights, can be redeemed for merchandise, or can be used for other redemption opportunities, as permitted under the IHG® Rewards program. This Promotion and IHG One Rewards membership are subject to the IHG One Rewards Membership Terms and Conditions, which can be found here or by visiting www.ihgonerewards.com. IHG reserves the right to recoup any points incorrectly awarded. IHG also reserves the right to remove a member’s points, downgrade their status, or cancel their account if fraudulent use of the Promotion is detected, and any fraudulent activity relating to a member’s account, this Promotion, or the use of rates is subject to the IHG One Rewards Membership Terms and Conditions, including any of the identified actions that may be taken in response to such activity. To the extent permitted by applicable law, IHG reserves the right of final interpretation of this Promotion, as well as the right to cancel, terminate, suspend and/or modify the Promotion at any time. Members must make any promotional inquiries within 60 days from the end of the Promotion Period, which for this purpose is 16 August 2022.
