Terms and Conditions
*This promotional offer (the “Promotion”) gives IHG One Rewards members the
opportunity to choose one of two different options for earning extra IHG One
Rewards bonus points. If not already an IHG One Rewards member, an
individual can enrol in the IHG One Reward programme, at no cost, at Join
IHG One Rewards. To participate in the Promotion, a member must first
register their member number for one of two available offers: (1) the “Earn
2,000 points every 2 nights” offer (the “2,000 Points Offer”); or (2) the
“Earn 10,000 points every 4 nights” offer (the “10,000 Points Offer”). If a
member has registered for the 2,000 Points Offer, the member can earn 2,000
IHG One Rewards bonus points each time they complete two (2) Qualifying Room
Nights during the Promotion Period. If a member registered for the 10,000
Points Offer, the member can earn 10,000 IHG One Rewards bonus points each
time they complete four (4) Qualifying Room Nights during the Promotion
Period. A member can only register for one of these two Offers, and once a
member has registered for one of them, the member is only eligible for that
Offer and cannot register for the other Offer or receive any points under
the other Offer. The “Promotion Period” is from 24 May 2023 through 31
August 2023. Members registered for either the 2,000 Points Offer or the
10,000 Points Offer can earn bonus points under this Promotion throughout
the Promotion Period. Members will be able to register for this Promotion
starting on 24 May 2023. By clicking the “click to register” button for the
Promotion, a member is registering for either the 2,000 Points Offer or the
10,000 Points Offer (based on the one they have chosen) and is accepting
these Terms and Conditions.
To be a “Qualifying Room Night” under the Promotion, the room night must
fall within the Promotion Period and must be part of a Promotion Eligible
Qualifying Stay. As stated, the “Promotion Period” is from 24 May 2023
through 31 August 2023. Room nights outside of the Promotion Period are not
included, and room nights that are part of a stay that was completed prior
to registration for the Promotion also are not included. For the purposes of
this Promotion, “Promotion Eligible Qualifying Stay” is defined as a minimum
1-night stay at a participating hotel booked under a Qualifying Rate, with a
total spend exceeding $30 USD (or local equivalent) for each night.
Participating hotels include all IHG® Hotels & Resorts and Mr and Mrs
Smith properties, with the exception of those Six Senses® Hotels, Resorts
& Spas that do not participate in IHG One Rewards. Iberostar Beachfront
Resorts that are not yet fully integrated into the IHG One Rewards program
also do not participate in this Promotion. Stays booked using Rewards Nights
or Points & Cash are not Promotion Eligible Qualifying Stays for
purposes of this Promotion. Bookings made through on-line travel agencies or
other reservation sites such as booking.com or expedia.com also do not
qualify under this Promotion. (For additional details on Qualifying Rates,
please see the IHG One Rewards Membership Terms and Conditions.) If more
than one member who registered for the Promotion checks into the same room,
only one member is eligible to earn points under the Promotion for those
nights that qualify. If a member books more than one room on the same night,
the member will receive credit towards this Promotion for only one of the
rooms that also meets the requirements of a Qualifying Room Night.
A member’s participation in the IHG One Rewards program and this Promotion
is subject to the standard IHG One Rewards Membership Terms and Conditions,
which can be obtained here or by visiting ihgonerewards.com. The bonus
points awarded through this Promotion are not Elite status qualifying under
the IHG One Rewards programme. The time needed for awarding points can vary
with each promotion, so please allow up to 6 weeks for the bonus points to
be posted to the recipient’s member account. IHG One Rewards benefits are
generally available at all IHG® Hotels & Resorts and other partner
hotels participating in the program, with exceptions for the following

IHG may withdraw points from a member’s account if they were deposited into
the member’s account in error and may revoke all points in a member’s
account if the member abuses the IHG One Rewards programme, including but
not limited to abuse of the point redemption process. IHG expressly reserves
the right to remove a member's points, downgrade their status, or cancel
their account if fraudulent activity in connection with the Promotion is
detected, and any fraudulent or other prohibited activity relating to a
member’s account, this Promotion, restricted rate offerings, or the IHG One
Rewards programme is subject to the IHG One Rewards Membership Terms and
Conditions, including any of the identified actions that may be taken in
response to such activity. To the extent permitted by applicable law, IHG’s
interpretation of the scope and application of the Promotion and these Terms
and Conditions will control, and IHG also reserves the right to cancel,
suspend and/or modify the Promotion. This Promotion is valid only for those
who are eligible to participate and who registered for the Promotion, and
such eligibility or participation cannot be transferred or conveyed. Any
enquiries concerning this Promotion must be made by 31 October 2023. Members
who participate in this Promotion may also participate in other IHG offers
and promotions to the extent they qualify for such other offers or

YOU CHOOSE (All IHG One Rewards members, globally)
- What is the You Choose Promotion?
IHG One Rewards members are being offered two options for a way to earn
additional bonus points when they stay at participating IHG® Hotels &
Resorts during the Promotion Period. The two options are referred to as
“Offers” and are described in more detail below.
To participate in the Promotion, a member must first choose one of the two
Offers and then register for the Offer they have chosen. A member can only
register for one of the two Offers, and once a member has registered for one
of them, the member is only eligible for that Offer and cannot register for
the other Offer or receive any points under the other Offer.
The two Offers are:
Option 1 − The “Earn 2,000 Points Every 2 Nights” Offer (“2,000 Points
Offer”).
If a member has registered for the 2,000 Points Offer, the member can earn
2,000 bonus points each time they complete two (2) Qualifying Room Nights
stayed during the Promotion Period.
OR
Option 2 − The “Earn 10,000 Points Every 4 Nights” Offer (“10,000 Points
Offer”)
If a member has registered for the 10,000 Points Offer, the member can earn
10,000 bonus points each time they complete four (4) Qualifying Room Nights
stayed during the Promotion Period.
- How do I know if I am eligible for the You Choose Promotion?
This Promotion is available to all IHG One Rewards members.
- When does the You Choose Promotion begin and end?
The Pre-Registration Period for IHG One Rewards members begins on 24 May
2023 and ends on 5 June 2023. Members can pre-register for this Promotion
during this Pre-Registration Period.
Members can earn points based on Qualifying Room Nights at participating
IHG® Hotels & Resorts and participating affiliated hotels, globally,
during the Promotion Period, which is from 6 June 2023 through 31 August
2023. The Promotion Period is when members can stay and earn promotional
bonus points under this Promotion. As explained in more detail in these
FAQs, the number of points a member can earn, and the number of Qualifying
Room Nights required to earn those points, will depend on which of the two
Offers the member chooses when they first register for the Promotion.
Members who did not pre-register can also register for the Promotion during
the Promotion Period. Nights stayed prior to registration for the You Choose
Promotion, and nights stayed before or after the Promotion Period, will not
be eligible for bonus points under the Promotion.
- If I registered for the previous 2,000 Points Every 2 Nights promotion, which ran from 25 January 2023 through 14 April 2023, do I still need to register for the You Choose Promotion?
Yes, these are separate promotions and require separate registration for
members to be eligible to earn bonus points under the You Choose Promotion.
- Can a member register for both the 2,000 Points Offer and the 10,000 Points Offer within the You Choose Promotion?
A member will not be able to register for both Offers within the You Choose
Promotion. Upon registering for one of the two Offers, they will become
ineligible to register for the other.
Example − If a member registers for the “Earn 2,000 Points Every 2 Nights”
Offer (“2,000 Points Offer”), the member can only earn points under that
Offer, and the member cannot register for the “Earn 10,000 Points Every 4
Nights” Offer (“10,000 Points Offer”) and cannot receive any points under
the 10,000 Points Offer.
- How can members earn bonus points with this Promotion?
Members will need to first choose between the Earn 2,000 Points Every 2
Nights” Offer (“2,000 Points Offer”) and the “Earn 10,000 Points Every 4
Nights” Offer (“10,000 Points Offer”) and then register for the Offer they
have chosen.
If a member registers for the 2,000 Points Offer, the member will receive
2,000 promotional bonus points each time they complete two (2) Qualifying
Room Nights at participating IHG® Hotels & Resorts or a participating
affiliated hotel, globally, during the Promotion Period.
If a member registers for the 10,000 Points Offer, the member will receive
10,000 promotional bonus points each time they complete four (4) Qualifying
Room Nights at participating IHG® Hotels & Resorts or a participating
affiliated hotel, globally, during the Promotion Period.
- Can points be earned at any IHG® Hotels and Resorts property, globally, through the You Choose Promotion?
Hotels participating in the You Choose Promotion include all IHG® Hotels
& Resorts and Mr and Mrs Smith hotels, with the exception of those Six
Senses® Hotels, Resorts & Spas that do not participate in IHG One
Rewards. In addition, Iberostar Beachfront Resorts that are not yet fully
integrated into the IHG One Rewards programme also do not participate in
this Promotion.
IHG One Rewards benefits are generally available at all IHG® Hotels &
Resorts and other partner hotels participating in the IHG One Rewards
programme, with exceptions for the following brands:

- What is a “Qualifying Room Night” for purposes of the You Choose Promotion?
To be a “Qualifying Room Night” under the Promotion, the room night must

through 31 August 2023.
Room nights outside of the Promotion Period are not included, and room

- What is a “Promotion Eligible Qualifying Stay” for purposes of the You Choose Promotion?
A Promotion Eligible Qualifying Stay is a minimum one (1) night stay at a
participating hotel booked under a Qualifying Rate, with a total spend
exceeding US $30 (or local currency equivalent) for each night.
Stays booked using Reward Nights or Points & Cash are not Promotion
Eligible Qualifying Stays for purposes of this Promotion. Bookings made
through online travel agencies or other reservation sites such as
booking.com or expedia.com also do not qualify under this Promotion.
If more than one member checks into the same room, only one member is
eligible to receive credit for the room night under the Promotion for those
nights that qualify.
If a member books more than one room on the same night, the member will
receive credit towards this Promotion for only one of the rooms that also
meets the requirements of a Qualifying Room Night.
What is considered a Qualifying Rate?
Qualifying Rates include most business and leisure rates, such as Advanced
Purchase rates, Best Flexible rates, Global sales negotiated rates
(including but not limited to Corporate Gold rates), national/regional/local
government rates and specified leisure rates as confirmed by IHG’s
reservation systems. In Asia, the Middle East, Africa and Greater China
hotels and resorts, Qualifying Rates include all locally negotiated rates.

- How many bonus points can I expect to earn when participating in the You Choose Promotion?
For this Promotion, the “Earn 2,000 Points Every 2 Nights” Offer means that
a member registering for this Offer will receive an additional 2,000 bonus
points each time the member completes two (2) Qualifying Room Nights stayed
at participating IHG® Hotels & Resorts or a participating affiliated
hotel, globally, during the Promotion Period. These points are in addition
to the base points the member will receive from their qualifying stay.
For this Promotion, the “Earn 10,000 Points Every 4 Nights” Offer means a
member registering for this Offer will receive an additional 10,000 bonus
points each time they complete four (4) Qualifying Room Nights stayed at
participating IHG® Hotels & Resorts or a participating affiliated hotel,
globally, during the Promotion Period. These points are in addition to the
base points the member will receive from their qualifying stay.
Members registered for the You Choose Promotion can earn bonus points under
the Promotion throughout the Promotion Period.

- How are bonus points calculated under the You Choose Promotion for Elite members?
As explained in more detail in these FAQs, the number of points a member can
earn under this Promotion, and the number of Qualifying Room Nights required
to earn those points, will depend on which of the two Offers the member
chooses when they first register for the Promotion. The promotional bonus
points are then calculated based solely on the number of Qualifying Room
Nights the member stays at participating IHG® Hotels & Resorts or
participating affiliated hotels (globally), as an IHG One Rewards member,
during the Promotion Period. Any Elite status bonus points or any other
bonus or promotional points the member may be eligible to receive for the
same stay are not included in that calculation. Additional examples of the
award of points under the You Choose Promotion for members with Elite status
are provided below.
Example One - A Diamond Elite member completes two Qualifying Room Nights
at a participating IHG® Hotels & Resorts property and is registered
for the “Earn 2,000 Points Every 2 Nights” Offer under the You Choose
Promotion. The member spends $100.00 on each night. The member will earn a
total of 6,000 IHG One Rewards Points, as follows:
Base Points Earned (Points the member receives for their stay for being an
IHG One Rewards member): 10 Points per USD X $100 X 2 Nights = 2,000 Base
Points.
Elite Bonus Points Earned (Bonus points the member receives for their stay
for being a Diamond Elite Status Member): 10 Bonus Points per USD X $100 X 2
Nights = 2,000 Elite Bonus Points.
Promotional Bonus Points Earned under the YOU CHOOSE Promotion (Bonus Points
the member receives for their stay for participating in this Promotion): The
2 Qualifying Room Nights result in “2,000 promotional bonus points” under
the YOU CHOOSE Promotion.
The total points earned by the member under this example is: 2,000 Base
Points + 2,000 Elite Bonus Points + 2,000 Promotional Bonus Points = 6,000
total points.
Example Two – A Diamond Elite member completes 4 Qualifying Room Nights at a
participating IHG® Hotels & Resorts property and is registered for the
“Earn 10,000 Points Every 4 Nights” Offer under the You Choose Promotion.
The member spends $100 per night. The member will earn a total of 18,000 IHG
One Rewards Points, as follows:
Base Points Earned (Points the member receives for their stay for being an
IHG One Rewards Member): 10 Points per USD X $100 X 4 Nights = 4,000 Base
Points.
Elite Status Bonus Points Earned (Bonus points the member receives for their
stay for being a Diamond Elite Member): 10 Bonus Points per USD X $100 X 4
Nights = 4,000 Elite Bonus Points.
Promotional Bonus Points Earned under the You Choose Promotion (Bonus points
the member receives for their stay for participating in this Promotion): The
4 Qualifying Room Nights result in “10,000 promotional bonus points” under
the Pick Your Payoff Promotion.
The total points earned by the member under this example is: 4,000 Base
Points + 4,000 Elite Bonus Points + 10,000 Promotional Bonus Points = 18,000
total points.
- Is there a maximum number of bonus points a member can earn under this Promotion during the Promotion Period?
There is not a maximum number of points specified for the You Choose
Promotion. Once a member registers for the Promotion, the member can
accumulate as many Qualifying Room Nights as possible during the Promotion
Period (after they have registered) and earn bonus points under the
Promotion for those nights based on the Offer they have chosen.
